St. Luke's Regional Medical Center Boise, Idaho.
With installations on a server and end user workstations Wasatch Software Consulting combined and converted two dramatically different existing ACT! 6.0 databases to ACT! 2007 Premium ST. Communication and client services were greatly improved between different departments sharing the same database.
"We did our homework," says IT Systems Administrator Pamela Bommarito of St. Lukes, "and we felt like we did a great job in selecting ACT! 2007 Premium for Workgroups and Wasatch Software Consulting group. WSC arranged a series of interactive online discovery meetings." The key players on St. Luke's team could organize their requirements and present them in a shared meeting environment. The St. Luke's staff joined from Meridian and Boise, Idaho.

Destination VIP Park City, Utah
Installing ACT! 2007 Premium ST on a server and workstations in offices located in three different states, Wasatch Software Consulting converted an existing ACT! 6.0 database to ACT! 2007 Premium for Workgroups ST. The more than twenty five ACT! users rely heavily on the shared database to track their numerous planned events from concept through the various stages of development to the final event, then print up valuable reports weekly detailing each event.

Rather than re-typing the same information into many different documents, with ACT! we now enter it once into ACT!, then with one button, export into Excel and easily paste the information into our existing Excel templates. Because each event opportunity is constantly updated with changes, our reports are more accurate and information is reliable. Getting everyone to utilize the ACT! program was easy - once they saw how efficient it was, it was just a matter of a little training."

AutoNet TV, American Fork, Utah
One of our several ACT! 2005 Premium installations still going strong, this 10 user installation has half of its sales force out of the office often. WSC set up synchronization for those traveling sales associates to synchronize their laptop databases weekly with the master on the server. Hundreds of customized fields were necessary to track the vital data for this unique enterprise.

Kennecott Land Development Company, Salt Lake City, Utah
The in-house IT department at Kennecott preferred a zero footprint on the client machines. Wasatch Software Consulting was able to provide a method of installing ACT! 2005 Premium for Workgroups on the managed server of Kennecott and instead of installing ACT! on the client machines, installed a thin client server based program, Go-Global, enabling the end users to only need a connection through their browser set up to the shared database on the managed server across town.

"We started with ACT! 2005 then upgraded to and currently use ACT! 2006 as a database to store information on prospective nurse candidates who apply for positions here in our hospital. We store resumes, salary spreadsheets, we use it to communicate interoffice on where they are hired, when drug tests are scheduled, when background checks are complete, where salary information is stored on the hard drive, their current licensure, whether or not they are current employees or outside applicants. We have almost completely eliminated the need for a paper file system. ACT! has worked great for us."

MOXTEK, a leader in the development and manufacturing of x-ray and optical components, is well known for advanced technology, innovative solutions, and excellent customer service.
Moxtek had moderate success in installing ACT!, but soon realized how much of the ACT! program they were not capitalizing upon and contacted Wasatch Software Consulting. Jim Meyer, Applications Engineer, wrote to WSC after our onsite implementation, wanting any prospective ACT! user to know:
"The installation of ACT! 2007 ST is not as straight forward as would be hoped or expected. It is not a normal client/server program, and there are many different subtleties in installing this on a network. It is possible to learn it through many hours of experiment, difficulty, calls to the support line and ultimately frustration. Much time is saved by having someone that knows all of the nuances of the installation and training.

"The Friedman Memorial Airport (FMA) has utilized ACT Contact Management software for approximately four years. An upgrade to version 2005 (ver 7.0) was attempted [on our own] during the second year of use with very little success and much frustration. We continued using ACT! 6.0.
