Wasatch Software Consulting is well experienced in ACT! installations and full implementations of all sizes. It is not just a matter of downloading software onto a machine. With an ACT! installation, considerations of how the program is going to be used, what the goals of the business are, who will be the power users, what else is running on the machines, are all taken into consideration. The system requirements we recommend are based upon real world experience.
Our recommendations exceed the base system hardware requirements listed by Sage on the ACT.com web site. We also provide helpful hints that make installations easier such as the requirement that an ACT! for Web installation cannot be on a domain controller, or why it may be worth it to pay a little more for the ST edition of ACT! 2007 over the EX edition for best server optimizations, and one user only needs one license to install ACT! on both a desktop and laptop.
